Her aim is to record the event with style, without being an overwhelming presence. The most rewarding experience is witnessing the pleasure on the faces of the happy couple or proud parents as they see the results for the first time.
Alice has now been working as a wedding and portrait photographer since 1988 and is looking forward to the future with enthusiasm.

Alice Alves Photography is a company that specialises in weddings and portraiture. The studio is situated in the Village area of East Kilbride which is south of Glasgow in Scotland (View map). Alice and fellow photographer Gail have a relaxed and informal approach to photography, favouring a natural style with informal posing. Their ultimate goal is to meet the requirements of the individuals concerned and to give them complete satisfaction with their photographs. They find the experience of photographing weddings very fulfilling and feel priviledged to be part of the one of the happiest days in the lives of the wedding couple.
Alice Alves Photography was established in 1993 and since then has steadily bulit a loyal client base which often starts off with the marriage of the happy couple followed by the Christening of their first child and then the first family portraits and in addition there may also be group portraits of the children for the grandparents and so on. Other clients are recommended by friends or relatives or else simply through advertising.
Both Alice and Gail have very easy-going and friendly personalities which is vital when putting people at ease, especially those who are not comfortable with having their photograph taken. Their creative and fresh outlook on photography together with their enthusiasm is a sure formula for success which will produce many more happy clients in the years to come.
